One penny equals one cent. There
does not seem to be much purchasing power with one cent. But if you
put 5 pennies together, you now have a nickel. 5 nickels make a
quarter and 4 quarters make a dollar. It’s amazing what a few coins
will do! We all have a few extra coins on occasion. Our coins can be
found in pockets, behind sofa cushions, in desk drawers or in car
consoles. A single coin may seem of little value, but pooled together
with everyone’s coins, we can change the life of a child.
By giving to Coins for Kids, you can be a vital part of the ministry
of South Texas Children's Home. Your extra coins will help send a
child to camp. It will support one of our students in college. Your
coins will provide counsel and teaching to hurting families through
our Family Ministry Office.
Coins for Kids will change the lives of many
children now and for years to come.
