South Texas Children’s Home Ministries is committed to helping families and adult groups experience the blessings that come from giving and serving abroad to touch the world with Christ’s love. As Americans reach out to make a difference in the lives of those in need around the world, they often find that their own lives are touched and transformed as deeply as those they had sought to help.

Much of our international ministry work takes place in the Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic area. Joanna Berry, Vice President – Family Counseling and International Ministry, grew up in the Dominican Republic, is fluent in Spanish, and has a deep love and understanding of the Dominican people and their culture. STCHM also partners with established churches and ministries within the Dominican Republic to ensure that local Christians continue to minister to those reached by STCHM’s short-term mission efforts.

Please read about all of our international opportunities on the web pages devoted to each type of ministry. And contact us about ways you can get involved!
