Dear Friends,

It is always exciting to see the outpouring of love for our children through Kans for Kids drives which are held in churches and communities throughout Texas. These drives enable our children to eat home-cooked meals every day and provide them with the school supplies they need. You can view the South Texas Children's Home Ministries Needs List online or download it here, and Kans for Kids posters are available. If you need posters, please don’t hesitate to call or email to let us know.

Because so many have faithfully supported our children through Kans for Kids, we have been able to assist the less fortunate in the surrounding communities and beyond. During the past year, South Texas Children's Home provided a trailer-load of canned goods to an orphanage in Mexico. When our staff began to unload the food at the orphanage, we learned that the staff had only 20 cans of food in their pantry prior to our arrival. How blessed we were to be a part of God’s plan to provide for these children through what has been so generously provided to us.

Although historically most churches and organizations have held the drive in the fall, your organization may hold the drive at any time. We would love to host you and your group here on campus to show you first-hand the wonderful ministry you are making possible. Let us know if you would like to schedule a time to drop off items and tour the campus. If you prefer, we will be glad to have a staff member come pick up items at your location.
