Welcome to South Texas Children’s Home Ministries! We are glad you are here and welcome you to look around our website to learn more about the multifaceted services we offer and the successes in the lives of the children and families we serve.

South Texas Children’s Home Ministries (STCHM) has been caring for children and families since 1952 through basic dependent childcare, family counseling services, international ministry, and Christian Women’s Job Corps (CWJC) of Corpus Christi. We are debt free, completely dependent on donations, and do not accept state or federal government funds. STCHM is blessed to have the financial support of many individuals, families, churches, the Baptist General Convention of Texas, businesses, and foundations which makes this ministry possible.

Through our campuses in Beeville and Goliad, South Texas Children’s Home Ministries operates 14 cottages. The cottages function much like any other family household. The children attend public school and local churches, and they participate in numerous extracurricular activities. Because the children in our care truly are a part of our family, we provide each of our high school graduates with the opportunity to attend the college or trade school of their choice.

Our STCHM Family Counseling staff continue to deliver a message of hope and healing to the churches and communities of South Texas through offices located in Corpus Christi and Victoria. STCHM Family Counseling uses fully licensed counselors and Biblically-based counseling to meet the needs of the children in our care and thousands of individuals, couples, and families each year. Additionally, our Family Counseling staff is available to churches and organizations for a variety of seminars and programs on topics related to the family.

STCHM’s international ministry and CWJC of Corpus Christi are relatively new areas to the Children’s Home, but they are having a huge impact upon the lives of the children and families they touch. Please take the time to become better acquainted with these two great areas of ministry. Both give the opportunity for your involvement as we invite you to join us in ministry.
