Short-term Missions > Lifelong Impact

God is such a big God, and one of the best ways to know that is to see Him working and moving in a country or culture totally foreign to our own. And when mission teams partner with solid organizations and ministries in other countries, work and projects that can be completed in a week can change the course of life of countless children and families in need.

Mission trips sponsored by South Texas Children’s Home Ministries (STCHM) offer many different ministry activities and opportunities for participants to consider. The specific ministries that will be conducted on each mission trip will be built around the interests, gifts and skills of the people going at that time, as well as the ages of the participants. In fact, STCHM will tailor a mission trip to meet the needs of your group. Families are encouraged to go on a mission trip together for an experience your family will never forget! Individual adults, couples and adult groups are also welcome.

“A mission trip takes people out of their comfort zone, where they can control many aspects of their lives, and makes them get back to what’s really important – people’s hearts, the love of Christ, and why we were put here on this earth.”

Joanna Berry, STCHM VP of Family Counseling
and International Childcare.
