STCH Ministries is proud to be a part of the Association of Christian Childcare Administrators an “association that strives to provide childcare executives and staff an opportunity for personal and professional growth through training, leadership and supportive fellowship.” Every year, the association hosts a Youth Leadership Conference at the Shepherd of the Ozarks in Arkansas. The conference is for older residents of childcare agencies who have demonstrated leadership skills on their campuses. This year, STCH Ministries sent five students from our Homes for Children campus to attend. At the conference, they learned and practiced new leadership skills they could bring back and implement on Boothe Campus. We are blessed to be able to offer this experience to our students.

Homes for Families Phase II Retreat

STCH Ministries Homes for Families is constantly working to provide our moms in care. with new opportunities and the ability to expand their knowledge. In August 2023, we were able to take Phase II moms on a retreat at Cross T Ranch in Beeville, Texas. The moms enjoyed the time away from campus and the ability to spend time together and grow in their relationship with the Lord while touring the ranch and the many different animals that live there. Prior to leaving on the retreat, each mom was given a book to read about a different protestant reformer. At the retreat, the moms shared about their reformer and the part they played in Christianity today. The moms were thankful for this opportunity to grow, not just in their relationships with each other but in their relationship with Christ. We are thankful for the amazing staff at Homes for Families that made this retreat a possibility.
